Brief history of the department:

  • In 2013, on November 5, the department of “Law”, on the basis of the order No. 260 of the rector of Jalal-Abad State University, was divided into two departments – “Technical” and “Law and banking”.
  • And in 2017, on March 27, on the basis of the order No. 100 of the rector of ZhAGU, the department was renamed from the “Technical” department to the “Technology and information processing” department. From the opening date to August 2018, the department was headed by Narymbetov Talantbek Kanatbekovich, and from September 2018 by the department Kochkorbaev Asylbek Akimbaevich.

The friendly and cohesive team of the department is working on the following tasks:

  • The introduction of a management system to improve the quality of education;
  • The introduction of training in the workplace;
  • Improving automated learning management systems;
  • Professional development of the teaching staff of the department;
  • Ensuring the full development of the student;
  • Monitoring of the educational process and its assessment;
  • Strengthening the work of graduates and vocational guidance work to attract new students;
  • Improving the material and technical base;
  • Expansion of the network of social partners;

Learning Outcome 1:  Able to use the basic principles of mathematical, natural, humanitarian, economic sciences in professional work, independently acquire new knowledge and evaluate the results of their activities.

Learning Outcome 2:  Able to logically, articulately and clearly express your thoughts in the state and official languages, speaks one of the foreign languages ​​at the level of social communication.

Learning Outcome 3:  Able to perform types of repairs to equipment for power supply devices, to ensure safe working conditions when working in electrical installations and electrical networks during planned and emergency works;

Learning Outcome 4:  Able to fill out orders – admissions, operational journals, occupational safety knowledge sheets, methodological, regulatory and guidance materials on the organization of accounting and methods for processing settlement documentation;

Learning Outcome 5: Able to design engineering, technological and other technical documentation in accordance with the current regulatory framework;

Learning Outcome 6: Skills in electrical circuit maintenance for electrical equipment repairs, maintenance of transformers and switchgear equipment, and the ability to perform high-quality repairs to transformers and switchgear equipment;

Learning Outcome 7: Organizes workplaces for the safe production of work, the design of work by order – admission in electrical installations and on power lines, as well as the skills for maintaining electrical circuits when installing electrical equipment.

Learning Outcome 3: Able to perform maintenance and repairs of motor vehicles in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and technical documents, work with clientele, choose optimal solutions when planning work in non-standard situations, carry out work quality control;

Learning Outcome 4: Able to select rational standards for the operation, maintenance, repair and storage of vehicles and equipment, to ensure safety at the production site;

Learning Outcome 5: Able to design engineering, technological and other technical documentation in accordance with the current regulatory framework;

Learning Outcome 6: Possesses knowledge and skills in designing sites and workshops for operational and maintenance motor transport enterprises, selecting vehicle components and assemblies for replacement during the operation of road transport

Learning Outcome 1: Able to use the basic principles of mathematical, natural, humanitarian, economic sciences in professional work, independently acquire new knowledge and evaluate the results of their activities;

Learning Outcome 2: Able to logically, articulately and clearly express your thoughts in the state and official languages, speak one of the foreign languages ​​at the level of social communication;

Learning Outcome 3: Able to install, adapt, maintain and operate standard software of automated information systems, search for and use information, own information culture, analyze and evaluate information using ICT;

Learning Outcome 4: Able to create AIS models, design AIS in accordance with the task, implement and maintain AIS as a technology in organizations of various sectoral focus, regardless of their organizational and legal forms

Learning Outcome 5: Able to design engineering, technological and other technical documentation in accordance with the current regulatory framework, organize and configure computer networks, manage computing system resources;

Learning Outcome 6: Possesses knowledge and skills in complying with safety regulations and hygienic recommendations when using ICT tools, AIS technology, working with Internet resources;

Learning Outcome 7: Organizes workplaces for the safe conduct of work during the maintenance and repair of AIS.

Requirement to the applicant.

Admission to an educational institution is organized in accordance with the legislation in the field of secondary vocational education, in accordance with the rules of admission to college that are annually developed and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Admission to the college is carried out on a competitive basis. The competition conditions guarantee the observance of the rights of citizens in the field of education and ensure the enrollment of the most capable and prepared for development of educational programs of secondary vocational education. Applicants to the college have the right to choose to take an entrance test in the state (Kyrgyz) or official (Russian) languages. The main criterion for admission to college is the level of knowledge and abilities of applicants. The main means of establishing the level of knowledge and abilities of the applicant are entrance examinations in the form of blank testing. According to the programs corresponding to the educational programs of the basic general or secondary education, in two subjects: mathematics and Kyrgyz or Russian.

The department has the following subject sections:

Teachers and students of the department are actively involved in various activities of the college, university and city. As part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Ch.T.Aitmatov and “2018, the year of development of the regions”, they took the 2nd place in the review competition among students of JAC. Last year, 3 laboratories, 2 computer classes, 1 workshop for the TOIRAT specialty were opened that were given to students for use. Today, all college audiences (43 audiences, 4 chambers in the corridors and one outdoor surveillance camera) are equipped with video cameras, which allows you to track the progress of the educational process and increase the safety of students in the college.

Students of the “Technology and Information Processing” department undergo practical training at the head office and structural subdivisions of the Jalal-Abad enterprise of high-voltage electrical networks, Kyrgyztelecom OJSC, Kyrgyz Pochtasy OJSC, branches of commercial banks, regional library, training centers, and auto services of the city of Jalal -Abad and in private organizations under the contract, which reflects the mutual obligations of the parties. The overall complexity of the practice is 12 weeks.

As part of the ADB’s Sector Development: Skills for Inclusive Growth program, laboratories are equipped with 10 laboratory stands, 10 kV electrical equipment and protective equipment up to 1000 V and above 1000 V. In addition, they received visual aids in the amount of 20 pieces in the state and official languages. A landfill was built on the territory of 100 square meters for installation and commissioning of the KTP – 100 KVA. At the end of 2018, the specialties “Power stations, networks and systems”, “Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles” were included in the 3rd phase of the ADB program “Sector Development: Skills for Inclusive Growth”. It is planned to open the specialty “POVTAS” in 2019-2020 UG. To date, three technical working groups have been formed to develop professional standards for the specialties “Power stations, systems and networks”,“Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles” and “Software for computer equipment and automated systems”, which includes employers and teachers. Within this program it is planned to equip laboratories and workshops in the 2019-2020 academic year.

To improve the educational process and facilitate the work of teachers, all subject sections have at their disposal classrooms, computers, copying equipment and projectors.
